East is a delegated body of the Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL), with the authority to run competitions below Metro level in the eastern region of the metropolitan area. The Competition reports to the VJBL and to Basketball Victoria.

East cooperates with the VJBL and the North West through common rules (with some minor variations), a common registration system and interlocking fixtures.

East is organised by volunteers and fractional time staff. Please make contact at times specified in the contact list.

NORTH WEST BASKETBALL COMPETITION MISSION: To provide individuals and teams with the opportunity to maximise their potential by competing at the highest level possible, given their own ability.

NORTH WEST is a delegated body of the Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL), with the authority to run competitions below Metro level in the NORTH WESTERN region of the metropolitan area. The Competition reports to the VJBL and to Basketball Victoria. North West Conference cooperates with the VJBL and the Eastern Qualifying through common rules (with some minor variations), a common registration system and interlocking fixtures.

The regional competitions are based on the view that basketball is very strong in the Melbourne metropolitan area, and there are many talented juniors who may not make Victorian Championship, or Metro Championship teams, but whose basketball participation will be strengthened and enriched by the variety of opposition, the intensity, and the prestige of participation in regional Championships.
