Basketball Victoria - Shooting Camp
Who can attend: All VJBL players U12’s - U18’s (Male & Female)
The Specialist Shooting Camp gives athletes a chance to attend a camp that has an emphasis on skill development; in particular: shooting technique, shooting off the pass and dribble as well as drills for the individual to practice by themselves.
Featuring Specialist Head Coaches:
Ray Tomlinson-
* Represented Australia in three Olympic Games – 1968, 1972, 1976
* Represented Australia in two World Championships – 1970, 1974
* Fourth best all-time coaching record with 273 games (145 wins, 128 losses) in WNBL
* Appointed coach of the first Australian junior women’s team – 1985
* Life Member of the WNBL – 1997
* Inducted into the Basketball Australia Hall of Fame in 2006
Darren Perry:
* Former Big V Men’s Coach of the Year
* NBL player with Brisbane, SE Melbourne, Hobart and Wollongong
* NBL Championships with the Bullets and Magic.

Guards Camp
Who can attend: All VJBL players U12’s - U18’s (Male & Female)
The Specialist Guards Camp concentrates on the guard position (all playing positions are welcome) and focuses on developing ball handling, passing and shooting techniques, shooting off the pass and dribble, on-ball defence and drills for the individual to practice in their own time.

* 2010/11 NBL Coach of the Year – Townsville Crocodiles
* Led Townsville to the NBL Finals in all 5 seasons
